Austin Garner was awarded a Cob Travel grant which allowed him to attend the Society for Integrative and Comparative Biology 2019 Annual Meeting and present his research entitled “The role of surface lipids in the self-cleaning ability of gecko subdigital adhesive pads”.
In 2019, master's student Jessy Silva used her Company of Biologists Travel grant to attend the Internation Association of Sexual Plant Reproduction Research conference and present her work.
