Science Across Boundaries

The Session information is still subject to change.

SAB1 - Physiological Genomics

Session Description

This session will be open to a wide variety of methods and topics within the umbrella of genomics/genome biology including studies on genomic content, structure, and expression, transcriptomics, epigenetics, metagenomics, or those focused on specific genomic elements like miRNAs or lncRNAs. We also hope to include cell biologist working on cyto-nuclear genomic interactions including chloroplast and mitochondrial genomes. The goal of the session is to bring together multi-omics researchers interested in applying these methods to study various aspects of physiology.

SAB2 - Surrogate Species And Comparative Physiology As Tools For Conservation

SAB2 (2) - Shared Challenges And Diverse Approaches To Physiology In Ex Situ Conservation Across Taxonomic Boundaries

Session Description

The session will explore various aspects of physiology in guiding or progressing biodiversity conservation in collaboration with zoos, botanic gardens, and aquariums around the world.
